This product should be placed at a minimum depth of 2 inches.
Recommended installation practices: Use this 3/8" minus compactable pathway material and ensure a depth of 2" - 3". To prevent weed growth, it is advisable to install a heavy weed fabric before laying the rock. Compact the material using a vibrating plate compactor.
Please note that we recommend customers personally inspect the product before placing an order. Our products are not washed, but they are screened to size. They may contain some fines and could be slightly dusty. As a natural rock, colors may vary slightly as different veins are excavated from the mountain. Even within the same rock type, colors may differ over time.
