These calculators are designed to give approximate amounts only. They will help you determine the quantity you need; however, variations in subgrade, compaction of subgrade, or inaccurate measurements, even a quarter of an inch of depth, can make a difference.

For gravel and decorative rock, these are recommended depths assuming normal conditions: 2 inch and smaller gravel should be a minimum of 3 inches deep, and 2–4 inch should be at least 4 inches deep. The bigger the gravel size, the deeper it needs to be for good coverage.

Our delivery services are available to any location as long as the order meets the required size. For deliveries outside Salt Lake County, Utah, an hourly charge will be applied. However, if the delivery is within the Salt Lake County delivery zone, a flat delivery fee may be applicable.
