Common uses for decorative rock include ground cover, water features, dry river beds, park strips, and accents. When installing a 1 1/2" decorative rock, it is important to place it at a minimum depth of 3". For optimal results, it is recommended to install a heavy weed fabric before laying the rock to minimize weed growth.
